Paul Taylor
Paul is a professional,
experienced and highly motivated investigations manager with a proven record of
achievement in fraud and criminal investigation.
Paul joined the London Borough of Brent in May 1993 where he was employed as an
Investigations Officer until December 1996.
Between December 1996 and December 1998, Paul worked for the London Organised Fraud
Investigation Team as an investigations/surveillance officer tasked with the investigation
of cross border organised benefit fraud.
Between January and August 1999, Paul worked for Elmbridge Borough Council, in Surrey,
as a Senior Investigations Officer.
In August 1999, Paul joined the Department for Trade and Industry as an investigations
officer moving away from benefit fraud and investigating white-collar crimes under
the Insolvency, Companies, Company Directors Disqualification, Financial Services
and Theft Acts.
In October 2000, Paul returned to Local Government as an Investigations Officer
with Stevenage Borough Council.
On promotion in April 2001, Paul became the Fraud Investigations Manager for Luton
Borough Council where he remains today.
During his time at Luton Paul has achieved considerable success and for the last
two years his department has been rated as Excellent under the Benefit Fraud Inspectorates
Corporate Performance Appraisal regime.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys life as a uniformed instructor in the Air Training
Corps.
