Paul is the licensed Icon Business Solutions advisor for the West Country. Based
near
Bath
, he is committed to providing outstanding business solutions
to business owners in his region.
Some key facts about Paul:

After completing a science degree Paul trained as a Chartered
Accountant.

He joined an award winning facilities management group
as their Finance Director. A key member of the senior management team he helped
in all aspects of the Company’s leadership through a sustained period of rapid organic
growth. In 2001 they sold the business. Turnover had grown to in excess of £25m
with over 2000 employees.

Since 2001 Paul has run his own successful business consultancy
and in 2006 added the Icon business development programmes to the services his organisation
offers. He has worked with small and medium sized businesses as well as global corporations
in the

Ireland
,
Scotland
,
Italy
,
Germany
,
France
and the
USA
.

Paul’s experience has spanned a diverse range of industries
including retail, facilities management, catering, IT, professional services and
pharmaceuticals. Key clients have included, Pfizer, The John Lewis Partnership,
William Hill Group and Cornhill Insurance and numerous small and medium sized Companies.
Paul estimates he has worked with over 100 businesses and their owners.

Paul has a wealth of experience and knowledge in business
administration and operational management gained over a successful twenty-five year
career. This experience has given him an in depth understanding of the numerous
issues that affect every business, how to identify these and implement corrective
action should it be required.

Paul has had considerable people management experience
having managed a variety of different teams throughout his career.

Paul’s understanding of, and empathy with, the challenges
facing SME business owners, having been there himself, together with his passion,
vision and determination are central to his belief that the Icon business development
programmes will benefit all small and medium sized businesses.

Paul greatly enjoys seeing the positive changes in the
lives of the clients he helps. Turnover and profitability improvements increase
the value of the business often allowing our clients more financial freedom. Improved
systems, team communication and productivity reduces the reliance on the owner who
benefits from reduced hours and stress levels. Ultimately Paul’s mission is to improve
the lives of business owners.

in continual personal development and sees learning as a life long activity.
Paul is married with two children. He is a regular gym goer, has run three
London
marathons, is involved in the management of his son’s local
football team and enjoys gardening, hill walking and playing music. His daughter’s
horse riding also takes up a considerable amount of Paul’s free time.
